Al Mahwit   (Arabic: المحويت Al-Maḥwīt) is the capital city of Al Mahwit Governorate, Yemen. It is located at an elevation of about 2000 metres.  Atoma Reserve is one of the most important declared natural reserves in Yemen due to its environmental and vital diversity, which has earned it a picturesque nature and unique tourist attractions that capture hearts, which qualified it to become a major destination for lovers of the beauty of nature, especially in the spring and summer seasons.  The Atma Reserve is located in the Dhamar Governorate, 58 km west of the city of Dhamar and 158 km south of Sana'a.  It includes Samah, Himyar, Bani Bahr, Al-Samil, and Razih. It consists of mountain ranges whose height decreases as we head westward, as they represent an extension of the western highlands heading towards the coastal plains, whose height ranges between 920-2800 meters above sea level.  This location has given it a distinct climate that contributes to the rainfall in the summer, which reaches about 800 mm per year.  The vegetation covers 80-90% of the total area, where the mountainous agricultural terraces occupy about 50-60

 Taiz  Cairo Castle in Taiz Taiz is a city in southwestern  Yemen . It is located in  the  Yemeni highlands, near the port city of  Mocha  on the  Red Sea , at an elevation of about 1,400 metres (4,600 ft) above sea level. It is the capital of  Taiz Governorate .
